In the modern conditions of globalisation, the prospects for the organisation of professionally oriented mathematics education in the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the most important problems for improving the quality of technical education in the state. The purpose of the study was to analyse and implement a methodology aimed at increasing the readiness of future specialists of technical universities to form professional competencies. The methodology included analysis, comparison, systematisation and experimental methods, and was aided by mathematical statistics. The research was conducted at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Kazakhstan, which made it possible to develop methodological tools to improve the training of specialists through professionally oriented teaching of mathematics. In the article, important pedagogical conditions are highlighted, such as a variety of forms of educational activity, activation of independent work and the use of digital technologies - all of which are conducive to the formation of the required competencies.
