This article deals with local history issues. The study of the creative heritage of poets and writers of the Ural region of the West Kazakhstan region is one of the actual problems of modern literary criticism. This article studies the work of the Kazakh poet Z. Moldagaliev. The scientific, literary analysis of thematic-ideological, poetic-linguistic features of the poetry of the poet was carried out. The novelty of the poet was investigated in the method of describing lyrical heroes, creating an image. Attention is drawn to the fact that the works of the poet are harmonious with time, epoch, and are closely related to the life of society.
