The use of media technologies in the formation of creativity in future psychological and pedagogical specialists

Currently, Kazakhstan is undergoing a transition to a new type of society, which is interested in its citizens being able to think creatively, act creatively, make non-standard decisions, and flexibly adapt to changing living conditions. This article examines the problem of the formation of creativity in future psychological and pedagogical specialists in the context of developing media education. The methodological basis of this study is formed by psychological and pedagogical provisions and theories of personality activity, as well as various concepts of creative development, the development of a student as a subject of creative activity, creativity as a complex personal quality, and the nature of creative thinking. The study used the following research methods: theoretical (analysis, synthesis, generalization, deduction, induction), empirical (observation, survey, questionnaire, interview, conversation, analysis of activity products, experiment), statistical (mathematical data processing, qualitative and quantitative analysis of research results). The study is scientific original, as it reveals the possibilities of developing students` creative abilities with the help of new media technologies and innovative teaching methods in conditions of higher professional education in the psychological and pedagogical direction. The article considers the use of media technologies for the professional training of future educational psychologists in line with the innovative educational process at the university. It also presents the generalized results of the experiment carried out on the considered topic.
