The development of new materials based on high-molecular compounds, as well as the search for ways to modify traditional materials, is one of the priority areas of science and technology, as it ensures technical progress in various industries. The need for alternative technologies for the modification of polymers is associated with the multi-stage nature of traditional processes, high energy and labor costs, and environmental stress in production. Studies on the application of electrophysical methods of processing materials and products have shown high efficiency of using the energy of microwave electromagnetic oscillations and ionizing radiation for this purpose. Volumetric processing of polymeric materials and products based on them can significantly speed up the modification process compared to other processing methods, while increasing the quality of final products, reducing thermomechanical effects, the dimensions of the production plant, and improving the economic indicators of the process. In this work, the modification of rubber products using accelerated electrons was studied. It has been established that under the action of ionizing radiation, the tensile strength of polymer composite materials increases up to 33 % at different degrees of vulcanization, and the hardness of modified samples increases.
