The method for producing blanks for tools made from high-speed steel grades is presented. The method consists of sintering the crushed chips of steel grades with certain titanium carbide content. The methodology for the steel powder preparation, for the pressing process and for sintering mixtures is presented. The heat treatment of the obtained blanks was carried out according to the necessary conditions. The number of indicators of the obtained mechanical billets, which are decisive for high-speed steel grades, such as hardness, toughness and resistance to cutting, are investigated.
