An experimental study of the support for the mechanized repayment of the under-roofing coal layer is given. Determining the parameters of the new cleaning space. The results of the research are shown that when working out layers K12 and D6, the pitch of the collapse of the rocks of the main roof ranges from 15 to 20 m. Laboratory studies of measurements of loads on the upper floor of the support were carried out: during the movement of the support, during the excavation and after the excavation of coal.
