The article presents the results of studies on the effect of deoxidation by complex silicon-aluminum alloys (including with barium) on the chemical composition, the degree of assimilation of the leading elements, the quality, structure of the electrical steel, the nature and quantity of non-metallic inclusions in comparison with similar indicators of steel deoxidized in the traditional way using ferrosilicon and secondary aluminum.
