THE USAGE OF BASIC AND ULTRAMICROHETEROGENIC FLOTATION REAGENTS IN THE PROCESSING OF TECHNOGENIC COPPER-CONTAINING RAW MATERIALS

Herein, the results of a study on the material composition of initial tailings of flotation beneficiation of Zhezkazgan deposit are presented. It is defined, that the basic mass of the object of study corresponds to barren minerals, such as quartz and calcite, the content of copper in tailings is 0.207 %. The reagent regime of flotation of anthropogenic copper-containing raw materials with the use of basic and ultramicroheterogenic flotation reagents is developed. The copper concentrate with a copper content of 10 % at the extraction of 66.6 % in an optimum basic regime: grinding of 85.44 % of a class of 71 µm, the expense of sodium butylxanthate of 80 g t-1 is obtained. The copper concentrate with a copper content of 9.2 % at the extraction of 71.25 % using ultramicroheterogenic flotation reagents at a similar consumption rate of 80 g t-1 was obtained. It is established that the usage of ultramicroheterogenic flotation reagents compared to the basic regime allows to increase the extraction of copper in the copper concentrate by 4.59 %.
