Protest sentiments of the Kazakh people in the digital network

The aim is to analyze the protest mood of Kazakhstanis in the online environment, as well as to identify causes and potential consequences and develop solutions to improve the situation. According to the results of the study, it was revealed that the protest mood of Kazakhstanis in social networks was most manifested in April 2021 in Facebook and YouTube, and least on TikTok, due to social and economic problems in the country, which indicated the low standard of living of the population. Meanwhile, digital modernization and the spread of social media among the population increased public participation in protest discussions. Such platforms have become a powerful tool for voicing public opinion and drawing attention to social and economic challenges, which emphasized the importance of analyzing and understanding the dynamics of protest sentiments in the current context. This study has practical significance, as the results are important for science and help to reveal the dynamics, causes of protest moods in social networks in Kazakhstan. The study contributes by enhancing the understanding of online protest sentiments in Kazakhstan, providing insights that can inform public administration strategies and improve engagement with civil society to address socio-economic grievances and reduce social tensions.
