The aim of this article is to study various aspects of the criminal investigation in the field of public health care and its characteristic features. The leading research methods are analysis, comparison and deduction as fundamental methods. The result of the scientific research of this article is the identification and systematisation of relevant information on current features of the criminal investigation in public health care. The research results obtained can be of scientific value for students and personnel of higher educational institutions, in the educational process and teaching, and can contain materials with the potential for practical use by law enforcement officers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
