LINGUOCULTURAL COMMENTARY AS INTERPRETATION OF THE CULTURAL CONCEPT

The article examines the linguistic-cultural commentary created with the aim of organizing teaching the Russian language in a foreign cultural environment and used in the process of educational activities as a tool for knowledge, accumulation and translation of knowledge and as a way to describe a cultural concept. The subject of the study is the educational interpretation of the meaning of the cultural concept (interpretation in the learning process and for educational purposes), which is effectively carried out in the process of creating a linguistic-cultural commentary. The purpose of the study is to justify the participation of specific linguistic means for the design of a linguistic-cultural commentary in three stages: understanding – interpretation – application (creation of a linguistic-cultural commentary). A method of interpreting a cultural concept is involved, considered as a way for the student to understand the accumulated material in the process of comprehending the meaning of the educational text and the student’s ability to objectify this meaning, to form multidimensional knowledge aimed at interpreting the meanings of linguistic units and actual (empirical) data about the surrounding reality. Understanding the educational text goes through a semantic alignment between teaching the student to interpret the text and the semantic content of the text. The result of the study is the development of a mechanism for creating a linguistic-cultural commentary, which includes the analysis of the cultural concept as a « unit of knowledge by thematic areas» at all its levels (conceptual, figurative and valuable), which is of particular importance for mastering the substantive aspect of the text as a special unit of the communicative level.
