Simultaneous determination of 14 rodenticides in pathological material by HPLC-MS/MS after purification by solid-phase extraction

A method for determination of rodenticides in pathological material by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry is proposed. Various sample preparation methods were compared in the course of developing the methodology. As a result of the comparison, a method that includes liquid extraction using methanol and further purification of the extract by solid-phase extraction on C18sorbent was selected. The developed technique was validated, the detection limits were 2–5 μg/kg. The relative standard deviation of the analysis results does not exceed 20 %. The matrix effects in the determination did not exceed 25 %.
