Existing methods of determining coke reactivity are analyzed. The reactivity of special coke is determined by various methods. Specifically, attention focuses on rexil, direxil, and other types of special coke produced from nonclinkering and long-flame Shubarkol coal. The reactivity is directly related to the porous microstructure of the special coke.
