Abstract: The thermokinetic parameters of the thermal decomposition of primary coal tar (PCT) from AO Shubarkol Komir in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the presence of a microsilicate nanocatalyst were experimentally determined. The salts of Group VIII metals (iron, cobalt, and nickel) were preliminarily supported onto the surface of the nanocatalyst. The method of thermogravimetry in an inert atmosphere of nitrogen was applied. The thermokinetic parameters of the decomposition of PCT (activation energy, preexponential factor, and rate constants) found in the absence and presence of the nanocatalyst were calculated using thermogravimetric analysis methods. The experimental results of the kinetics of PCT decomposition can be used to develop a database for the mathematical modeling of the processing of this type of raw materials.
