Today, in countries with a high level of medical development, one of the main criteria for selecting the optimal strategy for the introduction and treatment of cancer patients is the quality of life. The definition of life quality makes it possible to differentially determine the effect of the disease and the effectiveness of treatment, thereby objectively assessing the health status of the onco patient. In this regard, the relevance of studying the quality of life and adequate methods of recovery after chemotherapy is beyond doubt. The purpose of this study was to conduct a statistical analysis of the incidence of non-small cell lung cancer and to study the level of life quality in these cancer patients after receiving targeted therapy using controlled physical activity. Methods The study was conducted in the period from 2019-2022 on the basis of the oncological center of the Turkestan region in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During this period, we studied the effectiveness of targeted therapy in 48 patients with non-small cell lung cancer with a mutation of the EGFR gene at the oncology center. Anamnestic and clinical characteristics of patients were studied, as well as data from a sociological survey on the level of life quality using the QLQ-LC13 questionnaire. Results. As a result of histological features, adenocarcinoma was detected in 48 patients in 85% of cases, undifferentiated cancer in 3 patients (6%), squamous cell carcinoma in 4 patients (8%) and malignant neoplasm of lung cancer in 1 patient (2%). After receiving timely and personalized targeted therapy, in 77% of cases, the stabilization of the process lasted more than 12 months. Moreover, there is a statistically significant improvement in quality-of-life indicators (p>0.05) when regressing the oncological process after the rehabilitation period using controlled physical activity. Conclusion. The obtained data confirmed the diagnostic effect of physical exercise of 150 minutes per week, which led to a clinically significant reduction in pain syndrome in cancer patients and an improvement in their quality of life after receiving chemotherapy (targeted therapy). A comprehensive multidisciplinary approach in the treatment and rehabilitation of cancer patients is necessary to optimize diagnosis and reduce the risk of adverse outcomes in patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer at any stage of development.
