The article is devoted to introducing materials from two kurgans – Nos. 11 and 15 of the eastern group of the Sarytogai I burial ground. The study of these objects is driven by the necessity of conducting a comparative analysis of the materials and determining the cultural affiliation of the burial complex, which is part of the monuments in the southeastern part of Zhetysu. During the excavations, data were obtained on household items and weaponry, as well as on paleoarchitecture – specifically, the structural features of the construction of burial and memorial complexes. The analysis of the materials allows the monument to be dated to the late stage of the Saka-Wusun period (4th–1stcenturies BCE). Further research on the historical and cultural heritage monuments of the Sarytogai area is planned, as the southeastern Zhetysu region holds great potential for study. This area contains sites that offer new insights into the material and spiritual culture of the ancient population of Kazakhstan.
