Dry fungus beetle Aspidiphorus orbiculatus (Gyllenhal, 1808) is firstly recorded from Kazakhstan. The records of the beetles from family Sphindidae were absent for Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Mushrooms Mealy oyster Ossicaulis lignatilis (Pers.) Redhead & Ginns and Pale Oyster mushroom Pleurotus pulmonarius (Fr.) Quél. are first recorded from Kazakhstan for A. orbiculatus.
