A system for the removal of solid household waste from a multi-storey building

There are numerous problems in the collection, sorting and transportation of solid household waste (SHW) from a multi-storey buildings. The aim of this work was to explore the prospects of a new type of garbage chute system for removing SHW from multi-apartment buildings. The results obtained indicate substantial prospects for the practical implementation of the patented waste disposal system in the housing and communal services sector to effectively solve the issues of collecting, sorting and removing SHW from multi-storey residential buildings. This is achieved through a well thought out design of the waste disposal system and using materials consistent with accepted SHW, allowing for its quality sorting. In addition, the necessary levels of fire safety and disinfection are ensured thanks to the timely detection and localisation of potentially hazardous ignition or contamination objects in the loading device.
