This article provides a detailed examination of the scientific contributions of Bekmurat Uakhatov, a renowned scholar of Kazakh oral literature, with a focus on his studies of turmys-salt jyrlary (household and ritual songs). These songs hold a special place in Kazakh spiritual heritage, reflecting the nation’s worldview, traditions, and life philosophy. Bekmurat Uakhatov’s research delves into the artistic and linguistic aspects of these songs, emphasizing the use of metaphors, metonymy, and epithets to enhance their symbolic and emotional depth.
