The aim of this work is to evaluate the effect of the welding temperature regime used on the resultant toughness of a welded joint in Cr-Mo steel. In the theoretical part of the thesis, attention is paid to the use and properties of Cr-Mo steels, in particular steel 15128 (14MoV6-3) and steel P91. Destructive and non-destructive hardness tests of welded joints and calculation methods have been discussed to predict the toughness in the heat affected zone of the welded joint. In the experimental part of the work, an experimental program was designed and implemented to control the stiffness of welded joints, depending on the temperature regime used. In addition, the functionality and accuracy of the calculation models selected for predicting the stiffness of welded joints are examined.
