The article is devoted to the relationship between intellectual history and the history of social thought as areas and subjects of research (in a situation of trend towards contextualization and cognition of problematic “long lines”). The state of knowledge of the origins of the Eurasian intellectual tendency is considered (through the problem of identity and originality of the historical Russian and adjacent space) in Russian social thought in the second half of the 19th-early 20th cс. The question of the need to study the problem of the formation and development of the early Eurasian intellectual tendency, taken in three parallel contexts - Slavic, Turanian, Siberian, is raised and substantiated.
