This paper presents a comprehensive study of archaeological sites associated with the Ulus of Jochi located in the Ural River basin. The primary objective of this study is to conduct a systematic analysis and refine the possible locations of Golden Horde sites based on previously identified archaeological complexes, supplemented by historical cartographic data. The study employs comparative analysis methods to examine the spatial distribution of known monuments, along with the interpretation of historical cartographic sources from the 19th and 20th centuries. Particular attention is given to the topographic characteristics of these archaeological sites and their correlation with caravan routes documented in archival cartographic materials. Field studies conducted in 2023 have allowed for a reassessment of existing assumptions concerning the distribution patterns of monuments in the region. Potential areas for the discovery of new archaeological sites were identified as a result of detailed topographic analysis and cross-referencing with historical transit routes. The findings indicate a high probability of locating previously undocumented Golden Horde monuments within the studied area.
