Introduction. The article presents the results of assessing the technical condition of centrifugal pumping units based on the analysis of vibration parameters of bearing assemblies. This approach is considered as a key element in ensuring the reliable, safe, and sustainable operation of technological equipment at mining enterprises located in remote and mountainous regions, where limited accessibility and harsh operating conditions significantly increase the consequences of equipment failures for industrial safety and the environment. The purpose of the study. The purpose of this study is to identify and substantiate basic diagnostic features for assessing and forecasting the technical condition of centrifugal pumping units using vibration parameters. The implementation of these features enables a transition from traditional scheduled maintenance to condition-based maintenance, which is especially relevant for improving resource efficiency and operational sustainability of industrial infrastructure in mountainous mining areas. Methods and materials. The study is based on vibration diagnostic data obtained from ten SULZER centrifugal pumping units operated at a uranium mining enterprise. Measurements were carried out using a BALTECH VP-3470 vibration analyzer with BALTECH Expert software. The analysis included autospectral analysis and envelope spectrum analysis of vibration signals within the frequency ranges regulated by ISO 10816 standards, ensuring the comparability and reliability of diagnostic results. Results and discussion. The results of the spectral analysis indicate that the vibration parameters of the investigated pumping units remain within permissible limits, which corresponds to a satisfactory technical condition of the equipment. At the same time, the presence of individual harmonic components in the vibration spectra points to early-stage defects in bearing assemblies, emphasizing the need for systematic monitoring. The obtained data made it possible to identify informative vibration-based diagnostic indicators that reflect degradation processes and their initial development stages. Conclusions. The conducted research confirms the effectiveness of vibration diagnostics as an instrument for enhancing the reliability and operational sustainability of pumping equipment. The application of unified diagnostic criteria based on vibration parameters allows early detection of defects, reduces the risk of emergency failures, and contributes to safer and more resilient industrial systems in mining regions. Resume. The research results can be applied in the development and implementation of monitoring systems for pumping equipment at mining enterprises. Their practical use contributes to increased operational reliability, reduced maintenance costs, and supports the principles of sustainable development of industrial infrastructure in mountainous territories.
