BIG DATA AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS OF PRODUCT QUALITY MANAGEMENT

This work addresses the issue of improving information systems for product quality management through innovative technologies which are based on artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analysis. Conceptual foundations of the systems of quality management are studied, and trends of the complication of industrial production and the formation of limitations of traditional systems of quality management are identified. Classification of such problems is done, and possibilities of solving them through the use of AI and big data technologies are substantiated. The presence of cause-and-effect relationships in these aspects is presented in the form of Ishikawa diagram. Examples of modern information systems of quality management, which use AI and big data to improve the processes of product quality management are given and characterized. The research methodology is realised within the concept of quality management combined with theoretical provisions of digitalization, which allows considering the problem in the context of Industry 4.0 and Quality 4.0. The complex approach allows combining theoretical and practical aspects of improvement of quality management based on the application of digital technologies and ensuring visualisation of the cause-and-effect relationships of the problems of quality management and ways to solve them through AI and big data. The work uses the methods of induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, observation, grouping, generalisation, and visualisation of cause-and-effect relationships with the help of the Ishikawa diagram. The works value lies in the determination of the directions for improving the system of quality management, which are based on the identification and grouping of problems, as well as the substantiation of theoretical and practical directions for solving them.
