Coefficient of Heat Transfer of a Cylindrical Pipe with a Constant Temperature at Large Times

The author has given a solution to the problem on the distribution of heat around a cylindrical rod of infinitely small radius and with a constant temperature. The obtained solution belongs to a novel class of self-similar problems with an arbitrary positive parameter approaching zero as close as is wished. Based on the obtained results, an asymptotic (at large times) expression has been found for the coefficient of heat transfer of a cylindrical pipe with a heat-insulation shell.
