The purpose of this article is to analyze the state and prospects of development of youth work in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the subject under study is carried out, the works of many well-known Kazakh and international scientists are studied. The article presents the content of youth policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and analyses the features of the implementation of youth work programmes in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The shortcomings of the implementation of youth policy programs are expressed and ways to improve these programs are considered.
