In todays rapidly changing reality of territorial communities, especially after the pandemic and other global events, ensuring and strengthening financial self-sufficiency becomes a critical task. Justification of effective mechanisms for strengthening the financial self-sufficiency of territorial communities is important for ensuring sustainable development of regions. The study of financial self-sufficiency of budgets of rural areas, including the Karaganda region, is of wide public and economic interest and can serve as the basis for the development of targeted measures to improve the financial sustainability and development of rural regions. The purpose of the study is to substantiate effective mechanisms for strengthening the financial self-sufficiency of territorial communities, taking into account modern challenges using materials from the Karaganda region.
