Modern educational challenges require a harmonious integration of academic rigor with values-based personal development. However, little is known about how a spiritual worldview, as opposed to religious affiliation, influences the pedagogical practices of future teachers. This study addresses the gap by investigating how spiritual identity, the search for knowledge, educational experience, spiritual well-being, and medical issues converge to influence educational goals. The article aims to elucidate the interrelationships among these variables and to assess the potential impact of an integrated spiritual perspective on teacher preparation programs. A systematic literature study was conducted following a clearly defined flow chart for literature selection. The design involved a comprehensive review of scientific research published between 1998–2022. The population included studies from multiple disciplines that examined the intersection of spirituality and education. Qualitative content analysis was employed to synthesize findings and establish thematic patterns. The review indicates a significant association between a robust spiritual worldview and enhanced pedagogical efficacy. Future teachers who demonstrate a well-integrated spiritual identity and a continuous search for knowledge tend to exhibit better educational outcomes and clearer professional goals. The findings suggest that incorporating spiritual values into higher education curricula can foster holistic future teacher development. Recommendations for curriculum design and teacher training reforms are discussed, aiming to better prepare future teachers for the universal demands of modern teaching environments.
