Abstract: In this work, a series of 2,4,6,8-tetra(alkoxymethyl)glycoluril esters and their derivatives was synthesized for the first time, starting from 2,4,6,8-tetra(hydroxymethyl)glycoluril, the properties and spectral data of the synthesized compounds were described. Individual oligomers, derivatives of 2,4,6,8-tetra(methoxymethyl)glycoluril, were isolated and identified, their structures were described using HPLC analysis and IR and NMR spectroscopy. A similar possibility for the dimerization/oligomerization reactions of 2,4,6,8-tetra(ethoxymethyl)-, 2,4,6,8-tetra(isopropoxymethyl)-, and 2,4,6,8-tetra(butoxymethyl) derivatives of glycoluril with the release of macrocomponents was shown.
