Non-commutative analogues of weak compactness criteria in symmetric spaces

The aim of this work is to study M. Nowak’s and K. M. Chong’s weak compactness criteria in non-commutative Orlicz spaces. In addition, we obtain a non-commutative analogue of Pełczyński’s property (V) in Orlicz spaces of τ-measurable operators. We also obtain Kolmogorov’s compactness criterion in terms of conditional expectations in non-commutative symmetric spaces.
