Rhenium was isolated in form of high purity ammonium perrenate from technogenic waste of copper production. Obtaining scheme of high-quality ammonium perrenate from lead sludge includes first the stage of oxidative burning to burn out organic impurities, at a temperature of 550-650 ℃, for 4-6 hours and obtaining cinder without organics, sulfur and other volatile impurities, then leaching cinder at temperature 80-90 ℃, ratio of liquid to solid=1:(4-5), the presence of oxidant hydrogen peroxide, up to 83% of rhenium passed in productive solution. Rhenium sorption from the obtained solutions was carried out on ion-exchange unit consisting of two columns with a fixed layer of resin-Purolite A170. The sorption process is finished at the content of rhenium in the mother liquors not more than 20 mg/L. The resin contains rhenium 14.5 kg/t. After saturating the ionites with rhenium and washing with water, desorption of the absorbed rhenium with a solution of 8% ammonia water was carried out. After evaporation, the rhenium-enriched eluate enters the crystalliser for the last stage. After one stage of recrystallization of rough ammonium perrenate, a pilot batch of ammonium perrenate containing 69.32% of rhenium and corresponding to AR-00 brand in terms of impurity content was obtained.
