The scattering of 10B particles by 11B nuclei at the beam energy of 41.3 MeV has been studied. In this case, the angular distributions of the differential cross-sections for transitions to the ground (Jπ=3/2-) and excited (Ex = 2.124 MeV, Jπ = 1/2-) states of 11B nuclei were measured. The measured differential cross-sections of the elastic scattering showed a significant increase at large angles. The data were analyzed using various optical model potentials to test their suitability for describing the scattering, and extracting the spectroscopic amplitude value for the 11B →10B + n configuration. The analysis was extended to include previously measured angular distributions for the 10B + 11B system at 10B beam energies of 24, 36, 40 and 48 MeV. It showed that neutron transfer in the 11B(10B,11B)10B reaction is the main mechanism of increasing cross sections at backward angles.
