Introduction. The reliability of the production system is one of the key indicators that ensure the stability of the industrial enterprise. A comprehensive indicator of the production process reliability is not taken into account during the operational planning. Purpose of the research. Improving the efficiency of the main industrial enterprise technological cycles based on a systematic approach to the analysis and modeling of the production system reliability. Materials and Methods. Methods and models of reliability theory. Optimization methods. Methods of production and operational planning. Methods of decision theory. Indicators of industrial enterprise work, technical and economic indicators of the main technological cycles. Results. Approaches to determining the laws of time parameters distribution of the production process and probabilistic analysis of the network model to improve the reliability of the production system are proposed. A formal model for assessing the reliability of the technological cycles of an industrial enterprise based on a systematic approach has been developed. Discussion. A formal model for assessing technological cycles’ reliability defines metrics like continuity probability, incident likelihood, and recovery chance. The assessment covers production processes, with the entire complex as the analyzed system. A network model shows how reliability failures affect resources and operation costs. Conclusion. The research determined conditions for reliable, efficient enterprise functioning as a production system during continuity incidents in the technological cycle. Resume. A formal model has been created to evaluate the reliability of industrial enterprise technological cycles using a systematic approach. The task of optimizing resource consumption based on the number of concurrent operations at a specific stage of the production system’s technological cycle has been addressed. Suggestions for practical applications and directions for future research. The research results can be useful in analyzing and calculating the consequences of various types of incidents in the production system in the form of a set of qualitative, quantitative and cost indicators of the functioning of technological cycles.
