This article discusses methods for applying Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS) based on optical fiber technologies in infrastructure monitoring systems. Acoustic sensors detect vibrations, noise, and other mechanical changes along the infrastructure, enabling real-time monitoring. The use of this technology helps in the early detection of infrastructure defects, allowing for preventive measures to be taken and reducing maintenance costs. The article highlights the capability of extracting and analyzing important information from noisy signals using signal processing techniques such as Fourier transformation. This approach is presented as a modern solution to enhance infrastructure safety and ensure its long-term and reliable operation.
