Increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector is one of the key tasks to ensure food security, sustainable development and economic stability of any country. In the context of globalization and growing competition in world markets for agricultural products, countries are faced with the need to modernize and innovative development of their agricultural systems. The purpose of this study is to identify key factors that contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector and to develop recommendations for their effective use in the modern economy. The study showed that the introduction of new technologies and scientific advances plays an important role in increasing production efficiency and product quality. The results of the study highlight the high competitiveness and sustainability of the agricultural sector in foreign countries, due to the integration of modern technologies, government support and environmental initiatives. In particular, the use of drones, automated control systems and biotechnology allows Swiss farmers to optimize processes and reduce costs. Supporting rural communities, pre-serving traditional farming methods and improving the skills of workers contribute to improving living conditions and social stability in rural areas. An important aspect is the development of cooperative forms of farming and partnerships between farmers. The study was conducted using general methods used in economic science, based on a logical description of the compo-nents and functions of digital technologies, reflecting their essential properties using a systematic approach, providing the necessary depth of study of the scientific problem. The sources of the study were theoretical and analytical articles, works of foreign authors, which address issues of sustainable development of the agricultural sector based on the development of strategic competitive advantages.
