This article has been retracted by IOP Publishing following an allegation that figure 4 within the work has been manipulated. IOP Publishing has investigated in line with the COPE guidelines and agrees that the image shows identical background noise in the x-ray diffraction patterns that can be indicative of image manipulation. We have analysed the raw data provided by the authors and have found evidence that this data does not match the data presented in the manuscript, therefore, we have no evidence of the experiments being undertaken. Based on the statements above, the evidence gathered by IOP Publishing to date, and the author’s response, confidence in the work has been significantly reduced. As a result, IOP Publishing has decided to retract the article. IOP Publishing wishes to credit PubPeer commenters7 and anonymous whistleblowers for bringing the issue to our attention. The authors disagree with this retraction.
