The Cultural Spectrum of Colors: Exploring Kazakh, Korean and English Color Concepts

Colors, being unique conductors of human existence, overcome all known boundaries of language and culture, indicating the deep meaning of human existence. In this article, the center of our research was the semantic field of color concepts in the Kazakh, Korean and English languages, showing the complex interactions between colors and different cultures that shape our world. This study of the color concept in languages of different structures reveals the enormous influence of language and culture on color perception and its expression. The corpus and interviews were used for data analysis. The Kazakh language is imbued with a unique vocabulary of color symbols, reflecting the connection of nomads with nature and the environment. Close to it, the Korean culture indicates a harmonious coexistence of color categories, expressing these ideals. The English mentality and standards of life show more conservative color terms with different connotations. Cross-cultural relations show how much color concepts are built into culture and language, and understanding this phenomenon reduces the risk of misinterpretation. In conclusion, it should be noted that the study of color concepts in Kazakh, Korean, and English languages serves as evidence of the complex interaction of culture, language, and perception.
