The remote rural villages accessing clean and sustainable energy remain a major challenge. This article considers the original express methodology of analysis of light-emitting diode (LED) luminaires to determine the main values of their energy efficiency on the example of street luminaires, including Street-100 Eco, Gemera-100, and SL-96. The research considered the influence of illumination beam geometry on the characteristics of scattered light and bandwidth of the diode array spectrometer. The completeness of the analysis of the performed work allowed the authors to derive multipliers and propose a formula for the fast engineering evaluation of the luminous flux. The express methodology for evaluating the energy efficiency of luminaires is proposed. It provides a quick and relatively simple assessment of the necessary parameters and can be widely implemented in the consumer market of developing countries. This methodology was developed taking into account the needs of the Kazakhstan consumer market of LED lighting products, where there is a need for quality control at the customers end, without burdening them with expensive equipment and allowing for an initial evaluation in the shortest possible time.
