The article examines the main genre features of Kazakhstani writer Lilya Kalaus’s blogs, which have been published as a collection titled The Hieroglyph of Life, from the perspective of seriality. It explores how artistic genres are evolving under the influence of media space and adapting to new models of reader perception. These transformations are proposed to be directly linked to the broader cultural shifts driven by the internet. The theoretical significance of this study lies in its effort to analyse the genre of blogs through the lens of serial text, which carries unique aesthetic and ideological implications. The findings and material presented in this paper are intended to contribute to further research on literary cycles (serials), especially given the growing interest in this genre.
