One of the urgent issues for action by law enforcement agencies (Operational and Forensic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan) is the investigation and solution of committed crimes, ensuring the inevitability of punishment and promoting substantial reduction in the level of crime in society. The results of the investigation of a crime are largely determined by the broad disclosure of objectively available information in the form of physical evidence which is used to identify the criminal and provide proof of their criminal actions. Physical evidence (or trace) helps establish the details of crimes and prove or refute a suspects guilt. The reason for leaving a trace, or the reason for the trace, are the targets of investigation, the processing and study of which provide forensically significant information in the form of physical evidence. In the socio-psychological area, the importance of the study of murders involving rape and (or) violent acts of a sexual nature is supported by the fact that their commission, the number of victims (which include children) and the helplessness of law enforcement agencies can, in some cases, substantially affect the socio-psychological mood. The improvement of forensic science, in identifying physical evidence can facilitate investigations. The information obtained from the processing of such evidence is important for an objective and justified forensic report and investigation planning. The creation of a connection, between forensic technology and investigation planning, is an important first step.
