The primary objective of this research was to study the influence of digital government management tools on the formation of a typical socio-demographic profile of family businesses in post-Soviet markets. The study process presupposed the analysis of data from the 2019 World Bank survey. A comparative analysis of the state of digital government in all 193 member states was also conducted. The analysis of small family business development dynamics in the studied post-Soviet states evidences an increase in the number of employed workers and economic turnover. The development of digital government administration significantly contributes to this.
