The article analyzes the harmony and literary comparativism in the works of Abai Kunanbayev and Homer. The relevance of this study lies in the fact that scientific research on Kazakh literature is growing, and analysis from the point of view of comparative literature remains limited. The study of the parallels in the works of Abai and Homer sheds new light on the foundations of Kazakh literature and Abai’s role in the establishment of the national literary tradition. The images of the characters in them are similar to each other; the plots and motives are considered in a “nomadic” manner of drawing. Abai Kunanbayev was familiar with ancient works. After reading ancient works, Kazakh literature pays attention to the plot of its work. In other words, the similarity of Kazakh works with ancient Europe is often mentioned, as proved in this in this scientific article. Each author’s concept in the two works is similar, in which the inner thinking of a group of characters is clearly demonstrated through a monologue, dialogue, or polylogue. Copyright
