Integration of Digital Technologies into Higher Education: The Impact of IT Infrastructure on the Efficiency of the Educational Process (Case of Ukraine and Kazakhstan)

This study aims to examine the use of information and communication technologies in education and the impact of IT infrastructure on the efficiency of the educational process. The study used data analysis methods from the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, qualitative analysis of the use of information and communication technologies, with Ukraine and the Republic of Kazakhstan as case examples. To ensure the empirical component of the research, reliable data were obtained through statistical analysis, correlation-regression analysis, univariate regression analysis, and the survey method. The analysis of scholarly literature related to the research topic revealed the need to consider multiple factors when implementing IT infrastructure in the educational process. This analysis enables the identification of conceptual foundations – resources, goals, and strategies – for implementing IT infrastructure, which are interlinked. Developing these foundations enhances the infrastructure and the overall quality of the educational process.
