This paper characterizes the burials according to the cremation rite in the funerary monuments of the Bronze Age of Semirechye (South-Eastern Kazakhstan). The tradition of using ceramic urns as burials is recorded in the region in 10 burial structures, which are stone boxes, cists or special ground pits. Their cultural and chronological attribution allows us to attribute the existence of this burial practice on the territory of Semirechye to the Late Andronovo time (XVI-XV centuries BC) and Late Bronze Age (XIV-XI centuries BC). One of the peculiarities is the use of pottery for the delivery of cremated remains to the burial site. They are attributed to the genetically related Fedorovo and Kulsai cultural traditions, which have certain regional differences, including in the studied funerary practices. Fedorovo funerary complexes with cremation find their analogies in steppe and forest-steppe regions of Central and Northern Kazakhstan and from the Southern Trans-Urals to Western Siberia and Altai. Some elements of burial practices and the composition of the inventory of Kulsai monuments are noted in the materials of burial grounds in Central Asia and the Eastern Pamirs.
