The progressive development of the economy requires an increase in the use of rolled products in various sectors. One approach to solving this important issue is to identify latent reserves for increasing productivity, reducing logistical operations, and increasing the use of primary rolling equipment. This article demonstrates the methodology of situational modeling of the operational cycles of the rolling complex using an existing metallurgical plant as a case study. An analysis of the operational cycles of the rolling complex was carried out and possible ways of improving the performance of the rolling mills were identified. Production scenarios of different technological routes were studied. The methodologies presented can be applied in other metallurgical companies to improve the performance of rolling complexes.
