The paper presents an invariant method for measuring the flow rate of natural gas with an excess content of hydrogen sulfide, which is based on the principle of multichannelling of the invariance theory. The article describes the structure of the flow measurement system, which allows us to perform separate measurements of hydrogen sulfide flow rate and keep records of the amount of pure gas without hydrogen sulfide. The uncertainty of the flow rate measurement results for individual flow components is estimated. The factors that influence the accuracy of flow rate measurement are investigated, and the design features of the measurement system are discussed. The paper presents the results of experimental studies of the system on gas with excessive content of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans.
