Let (M, τ) be a semi-finite von Neumann algebra, xy be τ-measurable operators and z be a complex number. The authors proved several inequalities relating the generalized singular values of x+ zy and x+ | z| y, i.e., extended Bhatia and Kittaneh’s result about matrices to τ-measurable operators. Using this, they extended some inequalities related accretive–dissipative operator matrices.
