This article presents key performance indicators for project management decisions aimed at ensuring the sustainable operation of geotechnical complexes during open-pit mining of solid mineral deposits using motor vehicles. The continuous development of mining equipment, technologies, and computing equipment leads to the increasing complexity and improvement of production management systems aimed at enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of mining enterprises. The quality, validity, efficiency, and timeliness of management decisions have a dominant influence on the operational efficiency of enterprises. Project management decisions for geotechnical complexes on surface mining are developed using methods for calendar scheduling of technological processes taking into account the flexible, regulated standardization of technological indicators. This approach ensures a systematic and step-by-step consideration of the specific mining, geological, and mining-technical conditions of quarry operation, which contributes to increased efficiency in managing production operations and the degree of decision-making formalization. It has been established that key performance indicators are interrelated in a complex manner, directly or indirectly influencing one another. This allows for a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of both individual geotechnical complex work plans and the overall operations of the mining enterprise, creating a reliable methodological basis for making informed strategic, tactical, and operational management decisions aimed at sustainable development and increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise.
