In the article-review devoted to the book by A.A. Shirinyants and S.V. Perevzentsev Essays on the History of Russian Custodians (Khranitelstvo).: A Monograph. Part I (Moscow, 2021) shows the authors special approach to the original and comprehensive direction of Russian thought, striving to combine the natural development of Russia with the preservation of traditional foundations. Particular attention is paid to the role played by the individual in the “khranitelstvo” - both the direct authors of the ideas, and those ideas about the place of the individual in history and politics that came into the focus of their attention.
