The article deals with the burial assemblages of the Hunno-Sarmatian period at the Akbulak II burial ground. This burial ground is located in the south of the Aktobe region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the 2023 field season, research was continued at the Akbulak II burial ground, one “dumbbell-shaped” object No. 12 and barrows No. 5, 6, 8, 9 were excavated. A clear trend can be seen from the excavated objects: the complication of ritual features in the ground structure, this is an additional emphasis on the status of the buried person, since the height and dimensions of the objects studied were close. The same role plays the complication of the design of the burial pit. The studied sites showed the significance of the territory of Western Kazakhstan for clarifying the cultural genesis of nomadic communities of the Migration Period. A representative collection of artifacts on weaponry, jewelry, horse equipment and household items was obtained. In general, the studied sites fit into the period of the second half of the II century AD - III century AD.
